I'm done CRR critique assignment!!!yeah!!!!

FYI, I am having mid sem break right now.....

I dun understand why do we need to submit assignment during break...It's due on Sunday!plus it's Mother's Day....watever it is...I've DONE tat!!!perhaps this would be the best mother's day present for my mum as her daughter ME is obedient! hahahaha...

Last Monday, Mei Yie, Joanne n I went to Pei Hwa's n Yee Meen's hometown - TAIPING

It is our honour to hv Pei Hwa a.k.a Wah Jie to be our tour guide...

Stayed over her place for 3 nights....I like the curtain in her room!

Day 1 - Arrival Day

Arrived destination by 1pm.....Tried Taiping's Luk Luk with Rojak sauce...Food in Taiping is a lot cheaper as compare to our area...

Ice Kacang for only RM1.20....

Taiping Laksa....It is different with the Laksa I had in Sabah...I think this should be known as Asam Laksa....

If I'm not mistaken, this so-called Laksa costs Rm 2.50...

Day 2

We are really hang fuk to hv tat as our light breakfast..

Do u know wat is tat? Take a wild guess!

Were brought to taste the local Zu Qiong Fen...The specialty would be the sauce....

Visitation to Taiping Lake Garden

The trees in this lake garden remind me of Winter Sonata in Korea...

So I named it Taiping Sonata...The trees r different here....

Their branches growing towards the surface of the lake....

We did not know tat we'll hv the photo session after eating...n so we did not change...ANyhow, we still look nice...hehe...

When Pei Hwa was driving us around...I noticed that the traffic lights in Taiping is sooo short.....It's cute! But i wonder how drivers see tat from far?

When we got home...Pei Hwa's mum has prepared ingredients for Popiah.....

So here we go...we eat again....

She's serious even wrapping a popiah...Dun play play...

It takes one hour+ drive from Taiping to Penang..

PeiHwa's bro drove us there in the evening.....

Indeed, it was my first time to Penang....The first time on Penang bridge..They were laughing at me as all of them went thr before...

When we talk abt Penang..we will never forget one thing - THE PENANG FOOD!

I was so curios when Hwa said we r going back by ferry....I straight away asked her "We left the car here?"

Ok...ya...I am "Katak di bawah tempurung".....I did not know there is such service provided....

I did not know tat her whole Jazz can be loaded in the Ferry....

Hwa (2008) explained tat by taking this ferry, we have no need to drive on the Penang Bridge and straight away arrive Butterworth from Seberang Prai n back Taiping....

The name of Seberang Prai reminds me of SEJARAH! hahahaha...

Day 3

After breakfast, Hwa brought us to a shop which is selling fruits...It surprised us as this shop sells only fruits n they can survive!

Was planned to go Ipoh but canceled due to transportation prob...

We ended up doing facial....

We had Taiping Bean Sprout Chicken Rice as our dinner...

After the dinner, we went to the market n we bought ourselves supper like corn in cup, taufu hua n etc....

Day 4 - Departure Day

Taken photos with Aunty n Ah ma...But I dun hv it with me now....They r really nice n hospitable...

Apparently, the whole trip is about eating....Food in Taiping is really nice n cheap!!! Most of the ppl in Taiping speak Hokkien include PeiHwa's family..It was funny when Uncle was asking MeiYie n Joanne questions in Hokkien..They were like dunno how to answer....haha...Joanne even had nightmare on it.....

oh ya...Let me reveal the answer to u tat the breakfast I had on Day 2 is BIRD NEST....! Did u get it right?????

"Janice My First Malaysia Concert"

Sis loves listening to Janice's songs so much n was so obsessed to get her concert tickets...Eventually, she got 2 free tickets from MY FM n we bought another RM88....Thus, we paid only RM 88 for 3...haha..

The stage...

Those Rela were very strict....They dun allow people to take photos...we were sitting at the first row some more...so it was really hard to capture photos....

just a few, a very few to show up here....I curi-curi snapped one..hehe...

Janice's concert posters were distributed at the the Celcom booth.....

Overall of the concert was not too bad....Janice can really sing....Her voice is so sweet n powerful...She seems to be a very nice girl as the concert filled with her laughter...

Auditions

Weekend was productive as I went for 2 auditions...yup...2 auditions..haha..just wan to try out something new~

Was called up to go for the second audition for Christien Lavin's movie - Life is Good a.k.a Back to sch on Saturday at UCSI...

Initially, I went for the first audition at my college weeks or perhaps months ago...I never expected tat they'll give me a second chance...hahaha..

I did not do well for tat...So, I dun think they will take me...hehe...

Since Jasmine is in too, we went UCSI together...After the audition, she spent her day with us...

We were brought to TTDI Plaza after dinner...

Audition 2

Astro held the host searching audition yesterday..They hv it once in a blue moon..

We should not miss tat since we r free on Sunday...so Joanne, Mei Yie n I went for a try...

Joanne is so serious filling up the registration form...

The north entrance is really hard to find....Thank You Sis n Mike for driving us there....we were about 20 mins late..we joined the longggg queue as we needed to...hahaha....

Bernard Hiew, the Motosikal host was there....So happy to see him...!Honestly, I really salute him!SABAHAN some more!!!Proud of him eh...

Jim was there too....The GoGo trendy host....

Saw many of them like Xiao Hui Min, Shi Yi, Yan Jiang Han those....They all look prettier n more handsome than we normally see them on tv..

After hours of waiting, It was my turn!!!I successfully went thru round 1 for the audition n proceed to round 2...I did pretty badly in round 2 due to nervousness.....I talked all nonsense...Again, I dun think I will be in....

Anyhow, I dun mean to join all these for popularity or wat so ever...haha...It's good to gain experience~I did really learn something new though.....

Most of our classes end by 12 in this sem's schedule...

means we have only half day classes except Wednesday....
Thus, we will having lunch somewhere else instead of
eating the same food in our campus over n over again
since we hv no class after tat....

so now, let me report n share with u wat I've eaten...

Weeks ago, we went BarBQ plaza...Nothing much to
intro about this as it was not my first time there....

Last last Friday, MeiYie drove us to SS2 for lunch....
we decided to try One Noodle....

The Siu Loong Bao is ok but not as delicious as Dragon i....
while, the food portion is satisfying...
Apparently, the bowl of noodle isn't small....

Weeks ago again, when my sis was around in KL,
her bf - Michael brought us some where in
Old Klang road if im not mistaken for this
legendary Chao Shu Fen - 炒署粉.....

This is Chao Ba Guo - 炒白果

Yummilicious~btw, it's a bit hard for me to
differentiate the Shu Fen and Bai Guo....
The taste is almost the same..It's special though....

We also tried the Sa Bo Lo Shu Fen - 砂煲老鼠粉 at Petaling Street....

Sis been craving for this mouth watering mango lo...
same to me too....!!!
We had it eventually at the newly moved K.T.Z. 记得吃 some where near Low Yat Plaza....

Last but not least,

of Aunty Restaurant in my campus....

On Wednesday, it was Aunty's last day business
as they found it hard to continue where in
during holidays season they will not hv much business,

it is suffering for them too as they hv another stall at SS3

If u hv no idea on which Aunty Restaurant I am mentioning,
n as if u watched the movie we did,
Aunty Restaurant is in one of the scene where WanYen works.....

The Aunty and the Jie Jie there are quite close with us....
n we can see tat Aunty has become weaker after
doing the business here...

Therefore, we all decided to buy them the Brand's Essence of CHicken a farewell present....Seriously, it is really nice to hv them in our campus to serve us with nice food...I will never forget the plate of "Lam Yee Mee" I had for the first time...

may lucks always by their side....

My first time to work? NO...

Instead, It's my first time to work in KL since I came...

This would be a story telling post...

Here the story goes,

Jaye called up and recommended me the job...I was told that it is an Edu Fair...

Since no assignments due lately, I then promised to go....N I believe it is not a bad thing to earn money...so why not?

But, Jaye ffk and did not make it to work together as she has many assignments to do...

Btw, Kennet was the one who recommended tat to Jaye n definitely he is going to work too....

Without knowing what exactly r we going to work for, we just give a try....n FYI Jaye's Bro-Jason joined us too....

Does it make sense that an Edu Fair to be held in a grand theater like tat?

After spending time sitting on the floor for the briefing and learning how to fill in the order forms and stuff, we finally know what are we working for...

FYI, we work for the National Achiever Congress...Wat is tat?>If u interested to know wat is it about, u may try to find it out urself thru the net...haha..

The first day - FRIDAY

The three of us were late....so we were separated into groups....Kennet volunteered to join the usher group while Jason n I remained to stay in our own group to work in our product booth to sell products...

I was in group D with another 8 of them...

After briefing, we were assigned to do poster as in writing the product name and price for display....

By doing the poster, it makes me feel like Im participating a camp....

Second day - Saturday

we have to arrive by 645am....The working time is basically 645am to around 11pm

Honestly, I was thinking to quit the job cos of the working time...

How am I going to take KTM n LRT those so early in the morning...DANGEROUS tu....It is too late to go back in 11pm as LRT n KTM those might have closed...

But......I am just so lucky tat a woman who is also one of the part timer approached me n offered to drop Kennet n I home as she is living in Puchong...my transportation problem solved at last...

We were given name tag....

It is always good to write ur full name like mine so it is hard for those customer to see n remember ur name n call u....This is because my other group mates who wrote their Christian name being called all the time~

Besides, calculator is needed too as there are big big amount of money to be counted....

My group mates - Caris, Therasa, and our leader, Coco......

Coincidently, they are taking mass comm too...haha...It is really nice to work with them...have fun gossiping....

First Day working was ok....But everyone was unsatisfying with the meals where no breakfast provided n some of them did not even know where n when to eat n stuff....the dinner was really disappointing as we got only one bun as dinner...so kesian rite?

Day 3 - Sunday

Tough Day as it was the last day for the seminar...n those speakers were all great...So everyone wants their product soo much....

We worked worked n worked till almost 11 something only then the company released the results of the total amount of the selling....They then gave us salary one by one.... Rm 10 deducted for mine as I was late for the first day....sigh....

Luckily, our selling combined with booth B which enable the both of our team to become the winning team to get some bonus for each of us....

We were waiting for salary as shown as the pic above...haha..

It was really exhausted to work for the 2 n half days in such a long time per day.....Did not rest enough during the weekend....n the pay we got is really pathetic as wat Jason said.....

However, it is really a good experience for us...n the happiest is tat I hv met bunch of new frens n had loads of funs working with them...It is really memorable!

The Olympic Torch Relay falls on 21st April which is TODAY!

Since Joanne wanted to go, I just accompanied her as I was free..

Typically, this is a historical moment!

According to sports lover Joanne, this is only the second time of Msia being selected to run such a grand and significant Torch Relay since the first time was many many years back on 1964...

I never expected this would be tat grand as I can even see horses as in horses with soldiers on the road....?

Moving on to the field, we saw all these China Flag waving..It was like whole big gang ppl running after something...

We did not know what was happening n we were like wondering there...

We then realized tat this guy was holding the TORCH!!!!n ppl were running after him...

Hey! The TORCH! I never expect that I can see tat so closely! hahaha....

BTW, I hv no idea on who is he (the one holding the torch) until a Journalist of MALAYSIA TODAY who actually interviewed Joanne n I told us tat he is the president of China students club or something.....

Just updated that his name is WANG JI who is kind of famous n China ppl went to support him...

Yea...we were interviewed by a journalist but we were bit disappointed that we did not interview to be on TV...The journalist did not even take our picture! Wat to do? Cos we are not ang mohs ma..hahaha...nvm nvm....Doesnt matter....

we were happy that we grabbed the opportunity to take picture with this guy n most importantly, the TORCH~

The Relay started....

Meanwhile, we noticed these 3 security guards who hv china ppl face were standing near the second runner (the guy we took picture with)  as to protect him n the torch i guess...

The 3 of them look exactly the same! They hv the same attire some more...Smartnya~

Run Run Run!!!

No No..we did not follow them to run of course...we take LRT to go KLCC which is the ending point of the relay...

I find no point to stuck with those ppl in the park...n I brought Joanne to KINOKUNIYA which has the nice view of the park!

We went to walk around instead of sitting in KINOKUNIYA waiting for the runner to arrive...

Hours later when we were back in KINOKUNIYA, it started to rain~

I salute to the soldiers/armies or perhaps security guards!

It was raining, but they kept standing there like nothing...!

Aha....the final part has come eventually!

Passing over the fire to another Torch

The second last runner I guess...

Pity those ppl who were standing under the rain to watch the relay...

I dun think they managed to see anything and some of them even went into the pool and halau by the guards.......

Joanne n I were happy that we watched the final part of the relay in KINOKUNIYA under shelter instead of getting wet n watch nothing...

I found myself like a Journalist just now as I was busy taking photos~(yea im thinking too much)...Indeed, I know I am not qualified enough to become one....But as if there's a chance, I hope I will be in the same lorry with this girl!hahaha...cool rite?

Somehow, it would be perfect if we can see Lin Yu Zhong running....

Anyway, we had fun watching this relay n I am getting patriotic~ So ppl, learn from me k! Malaysia BOLEH!
