Wanted to blog about my trip to Melbourne long ago. Yet time ran too quickly n did not allow me to.
I have tonnes of pictures taken n would like to share with y’all.
FB stalkers would have already seen them.
But still, I hv the urge to compile an entry here which I think it’s different from merely browsing the pixies through FB?
Anyway, if you are starving now, I would like to advise you to kindly leave this page.
So yea, as the title suggests, this entire post gonna be on the food I had in Melbourne City!
What for brunch?
- Rose Garden BBQ Shop @ Elizabeth Street
Upon my arrival to the city, my boy brought me to this Rose Garden BBQ Shop for brunch.
This restaurant serves very big portion of meals in which the plate of my supposed-to-be-1 serving salted fish fried mihun looks like a sharing meal for two!
Apart for the XXL sized meal, our lovely fren – SPY highly recommended their salt pepper chicken.
So ppl visit the restaurant for it’s XXL meals with yummilicious taste and
most importantly, for it’s reasonable price in the city.
- Breakfast at Centre Place
Grabbed the chance to enjoy a meal at Centre place – the busy laneway with various bars, restaurants and shops
together with the long time no see woman from Adelaide.
I cannot remember the name of this Italian restaurant but I do love the risotto and beef stew rice they serve.
- Centre Place with Tokyo feel?
The ladies’ favourite camwhore session is BACK!
- Hainaichi
There’s this Japanese fast food chain in OZ.
Emily brought me there to try out their best selling Kay’s Chicken
no doubt, the kay’s chicken did not disappoint us.
A variety of teas can be found in the restaurant.
As recommended by Emily, their lychee tea is really good.
- Sushi Burger
Coming up next – Sushi Burger!
It’s japanese cuisine again. Ppl in Melbourne do fancy Japanese food I guess.
In fact, I had a wide range of cuisines from Japan to Chinese to Indon to Thai to Vietnam n etc.
The food variety tells how much of migrants Melbourne has.
Btw, back to the topic! Yes, speaking of sushi burger, must try their Spicy Raw Salmon sushi burger!
It’s finger licking good to go with the special sauce in the burger.
OMG, I’m craving for it now!
Okie, upon the request of one of my loyal fans, I would like to hereby express my gratitude
to my HPY MISS CHARLENE LAI CHERN LIN who reckoned this stunning delicious sushi burger to us.
Xie xie ni HPY, ni de ren hen hao…! Xie xie! arigatou gozaimass… kamsahamida!
Sawadikap!
Tried this thai restaurant located at Lygon called Ying Thai.
It’s a popular Thai restaurant as the crowd tells.
Their seafood tomyam was amazingly good! Way too hot to me but yet I suka =)

Lindt Chocolat Cafe @ Collins St.
and last but not least – exquisite Lindt cafe which is specially designated for all the Fut TaiS!
nice place to chill out
The nice chilling environment is always the best for Fut TaiS to gossip…
Dinner?
Giraffe Cafe
Giraffe cafe serves good food with it’s inviting home alike interior.
It’s perfect to have a gathering there like we did =)
- Stalactites @ Lonsdale Street
If you’re running late for a dinner whereby most of the restaurants in the city have probably closed, no worries,
you may visit Stalactites – the famous Greek restaurant in Melb that operates for 24 hours!
Try their kebab which is so called souvlaki in their menu.
I would suggest u to order Lamb souvlaki which I think it’s the best among all!
- Little Lamb @ Russel St
Another MUST visit restaurant – Little Lamb!
If you are very very hungry, you may go for this eat-all-you-can steamboat.
- eat all u can!
Worth the money and the steamboat is really good with their tasty soup bases and different types of sauces!
Best to eat when you cannot stand the coldness in town!
Something to munch on?
- Lord of the fries
You will love to try tis lord of the fries which can be found in
Melbourne Central and somewhere near Flinders as you’ll see the crowd queuing for tat.
- Sushi rolls
I love the way sushi is served in Melbourne.
It’s easy to eat and I heart the soy sauce that they pack in the fishie little bottle.
You can just drip the soy sauce accordingly to your preference with no hassle!
Do visit TOKUI sushi at Swanston Street for the cheapest sushi in town! $2 per roll =)
That’s all for now. Time to hit the sack.
More to come! Stay tuned*
