October 16 NightmareGlad that I am still surviving! This is the big word which floats in my mind lately. The assignment marathon is extremely tiring! Imagine 6 things due in two weeks time! IMC Forum (Part A & B), JE group presentation, JE case study, CFWM profile and last but not least, the Thank God we are done with that!!!! Few weeks back we were working for our JE group presentation @ mentari old town. Spent my lovely Sunday there and we all got back ache after tat. Probably cos we sit too long or we just hv to accept the fact that we r getting old =(
Anyway, racing with time is always a big challenge! Especially when the assignment due dates are approaching. For that moment, we were so regret for not working on them earlier. We know, I know! I ever pondered and told myself zillion of times to work, Work, WORK earlier! Yet, the message just crossed through my mind and flew off. Perhaps I have too many lazy worms living in my body. Too bad that my assignment working mood will only switches to *ON* only when I realize I am in a deep shit. Btw, Meiyie, Joanne n I had just co-operated as a team for the IDM assignment 2. We are required to shoot 22 photos and a short video accordingly to the instructions given and compile it. Sounds easy but seriously, it’s not! especially for ppl like me who is not familiar with all these technology. Am just a blind mac user. No joke, we hv a lot to do. From pre-production paper works to editing to composing music by using garageband to compiling everything using final cut pro.
Other than tat, we got our 66 shots and videos done in a day. I must say it was exhausted! Shooting is easy but the problem is whether the correct shots are taken [subject enters/exits frame, CU, MS, VLS bla bla bla]. Wat a day in college n u will never know how clumsy were we chasing after the flying balloons *swt*
Media hub has become our work station for tat. Spent one whole day there from 8am to 6pm yesterday dealing with mac. N early this morning, students were already waiting for media hub to be opened. If not, you will hardly get a mac to continue working. Taylors should consider to provide more Mac machines. All in all, it is a good experience and I would like to thank MeiYie and Joanne for the co-operation and the others for the help =) My drawings during the boring lectures. For once, I think I am gifted in drawing! *woohoo* [Ok, I know they dun look ultimately good but who cares? I think they are somehow adorable =)] Last weekend, Joanne and I had a trip to the aquatic center at Bukit Jalil for the sake of my profile writing assignment. Was there to interview my cousin, Lai Kwan, her friends and the coach. Us with Lai Kwan and her cute little soft toys that she won in her recent competition at Tokyo. Bangganya~ Sincerely thank you Lai Kwan & friends as well as the coach Mr. Paul for their precious time to entertain me. Of course, I need to thank Joanne for the companion again. Big THANK YOU ppl! Khen and Lee were here weeks ago dropping by before going back to Sdk. It was mooncake festival, but we did not have any special celebration since I hv loads to do with assignments We simply had dinner together and Alvin joined us =) [I saw a good news about the boy in FB just now *ahem ahem* congrats! congrats!] The two sui chabo joined us to dine together =)
Sorry to hv whined so much about my assignments in this entry. I hv nothing to tell other than tat. Tat’s my recent life immersing in the pool of assignments! Physical and mental fatigue for now. Gotta recharge my batt for the upcoming battles! More to go. Another one due next Fri. Gambateh ppl! Comments (12)
